General

Please find below some of the general rules that apply whilst your child is at pre-school.

- Sessions run from 8.45 – 11.45 and 12.15 – 3.15 children should be dropped of and collected prompted.

- At the 11.45 collection and 12.15 drop off access to pre-school should be gained through the staff car park  which is to the left of the school but is also possible through main playground if the children are not out to play.

- Pushchairs are not permitted on the ramp into school – this is a fire exit and must be kept clear at all times.

- All of your child’s belongings need to be labelled i.e. coats, hats etc.

- A spare pair of clothes needs to be in their box.

- If the weather is hot please ensure that sun cream is applied before you bring your child to pre-school.

- If your child is unwell please telephone before your child’s session.  If your child has sickness/diarrhoea it is the pre-school’s policy, that the child is kept away for 48 hours following the last bout.  Also if your child has any other contagious illness staff will be happy to advise how long they should remain off after symptons have gone. This is to avoid spreading the infection between the children but also to the staff as well.

- If you are absent for a holiday please complete the holiday form which is available from the staff.

- No backpacks are to be left on the pegs in the entrance hall as we are limited on space.

- For afternoon children bring in their lunch please ensure that they do not bring in any food containing nuts or nut products as we have children with severe allergies in Pre-school.

- Fees must be paid promptly.  Any late payments will result in an additional administration fee.
